I thought he did a great job. His portayal of a man with ptsd was better than cooper's in American sniper imo. Sandler should of gotten nominated for this.

The only Adam Sandler film worth watching. I saw Billy Madison circa '99 as a teenager and thought it crass unfunny and plain stupid, mid 20 aughts I stomached 15 minutes of 50 first dates and now(nov 2016) I came upon this going through Don Cheadle's body of work. I will still not set foot anywhere near any of his "comedies" but should he decide to take a role in anything other than that I won't wait a decade to check it out.

He blew me away in this. Much better than the hyped-up Manchester by the Sea.

His performance in this was Oscar worthy in my opinion.
