Easily the worst movie ever made... no contest

Obviously, a bunch of stoned idiots, and likely including Adam Sandler, sat around talking about the concept for this and the grass made it a much funnier idea than it was.

Then, and this is the important part, somehow they all agreed that they would ad-lib the entire movie. "We'll get all the funniest people and we'll just wing it". It's obvious from the outtakes that they didn't use any script as every session was completely different.

The only problem was, the grass is the only reason the idea, or the actors chosen seemed funny.

This is truly the worst POS ever to be put on celuloid. It's an embarrassment to all aspiring film-makers. The simple fact that this got made belittles the entire industry.

Poor Ernest Borgnine, that he had to be involved with this project. An Academy Award winner should not be trashed like this.

Steve Zahn has shown some true acting ability in other projects. But here, he is wasted. That A**hole from "Superbad" (I'm not even going to go to the trouble of looking up his name) is simply and completely without any skills at all. He thinks he's funny, he's not.

Only a stoned person could find this amusing (beyond the first 5 minutes which showed promise). And if you did, shame on you for wasting your life on drugs. This should be blatant wake-up call that drugs will mess you up for life.

The amazing part is that through the entire process, nobody, when straight, didn't point out that this wasn't working as planned. Perhaps someone did but it was too expensive to simply write-off. And they likely knew enough stoners would get wasted and spend $8 on this.

I have never rated a movie below a 3 as I can always find something redeeming in a film. Some actor, trying despite a bad script... some writer who did well but fell victim to a bad director. But this was a zero, plain and simple.

But this movie is totally without merit of any kind. Every single aspect of this movie is junk. And the idea of trying to ad-lib a movie would work, but only if you choose funny people. The ones in this film (that have had some success with good scripts) are proof that an actor is only as good as the material he is delivering.

What total crap!

No way. Sorry OP but this movie is ridiculously hilarious - I LMAO. It's right up there with Grandma's Boy and Dude Where's My Car as one of the funniest slacker, stoner movies ever. If you want worst movie ever made watch anything directed by either Christopher Nolan or Zach Snyder - all they do is crap. It's crazy how overrated those two idiots and their sh!t is. Those guys are probably worse even than M. Night.

Agreed on all your points. The humor is so low-level that only a moron could find the "jokes" funny. The part where all the actors bust a gut over the guy named "D!ck" was painfully unfunny. It would have been fine for a quick gag, but they made the characters react like it was the funniest thing ever. The rest of the jokes were mainly people bumping their heads on one thing or another.

About that Dick part, you do realise that it was the characters who thought it was the funniest thing ever. What's funny about this scene is not the actual jokes they make about his name but how stupid they are for making so many unfunny jokes about his name.

To me, the film was great, a good comedy in the same vein as Dude Where's My Car? I mean, I get it that you don't like this type of comedy but the worst film ever?

I enjoy that the OP tried to point out that drugs mess up your life...even though the guys who made this movie are all stoners who have more money than he ever will.

You shouldn't be so judgmental...most stoners have hilarious ideas.

I agree, I think it is one of the worst movies ever, I gave it a 3/10, as there were some funny lines in amongst the rest of the garbage. Jonah Hill was okay, I think he improved the film, and the old guy improved the film, they're the only good things about the film.

With this cast I expected much, much more. It was in theaters for about two days, so I was thinking, well it just didn't appeal to a mass audience. It will be cult classic.
