Child being shot
Don't you think that was a bit over the top?
an 8 year old boy or so being shot for no reason during one of the fighting scenes.
violence for the sake of violence is just pointless.

Not at all. That was the whole fun in Postal 2. You could slaughter the entire town just to do it.
"An assassin's blade can be more effective than an entire division of soldiers" Tanaka Corp Proverb
get a life
if your as sensitive as an eight year old boy then grow up
No, I don't think it was over the top because it fit in perfectly with the rest of the movie. Now if a kid got shot during an episode of Dora the Explorer I'd feel that was over the top.
"I am the lemon zester of destruction." MST3K episode Prince of Space
You clearly never played the game postal 2 which this movie was based upon. It is very true to the game and the game was even more over the top than the movie.

I don't know if Uwe Boll is capable of critical thinking, but if he is, that scene really points out the disgusting practice of child worship in America. You could watch a scene much longer than that where 10x as many adults die and no one cares, but because it's kids, everyone has a conniption fit. If those kids were 10 years older no one would give a flying *bleepy bloop* about them, even if they were living on the street. So kudos if that was intentional, but nonetheless a hilarious scene and at the bare least evokes the polarizing reaction that was intended.
I think people forget how the movie ended. The town got "beep" nuked, as well as the entire United States (and China). Now think of the millions of children that died OFF SCREEN. Nobody cares about that for some reason, just like in real life.
shareIf I may agree with a 13 month old post, I shall. That's how media exists (in the US at least I claim to know nothing of other countries). If they showed video clips in full color and HD of crimes going down rather than just speak about it or show blurry black&white security cam footage, every news company (well the 2 that own all of them) would be out of business.
If I must (I'm going to anyway because even though I can't hear my own voice as I'm not actually speaking aloud since I can type without saying the words as I do it which for some reason people can't I guess I grew up in a.... wait what was I saying). I uhhh, oh yeah. So this kid got hit by a dump truck near where I live recently. And I don't mean it creeped forward and steamrolled him, he went flying through the air and died. I (sorta) hate to be vulgar, but the story played on 5 news stations at least 5,647 total times for 2-3 days. Now if a video had been shown of said event that many times people would have been burning down skyscrapers.
The double standards and hypocrisy that occur in "civilized society" are truly disturbing once a person realizes it. Art versus reality is interesting in that way, how they parallel each other so close yet can be judged differently. I'm going to stop now before I post a novel.

Hardly an original idea. Watch the original Assault on Precinct 13. Itw as done much better by a far, far better director in John Carpenter.
