I actually enjoyed this film, however that was mostly due to The Silver Surfer and nothing else

shareI liked it also. Some people hate other people for liking this movie just to make some pointless misguided statement. Don't be afraid to stand up and say "yes, I liked it." Someone always hates no matter what.

I LOVE extreme darkness, violence and stupidity but I also thoroughly enjoyed both of these movies!! 😀

Everything's gotta be dark and grim and gritty now! People want miserable fantasies. It's so bizarre. But these movies were crazy hated when they came out. They got bagged on all the time.

Right. It's quite entertaining, but nothing more, too bad cause there was a huge potential here. Movie is overall partially successful, as you said, mostly because of Surfer - his look, behavior and voice, and John Ottman's music. Honestly, I'm quite sentimental about this period (2000-2007) of modern comic-book movies, there was a certain charm about them which later has been lost.
