Wish he was todays president
But don't change a hair for me
Not if you care for me
agreed,, we couldn't do any worse.
are you going to bark all day little doggie,, or are you going to bite
Yeah, it was nice to see a "president" who stood against the lobbies and corruption. Really *beep* immoral of him to hand the Presidency over to Kellogg. By all means, expose the glitch, but then run again in the new election. Handing the country off to inferior hands isn't a compassionate thing to do.

"Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. True humility is the antidote to shame."
Him being honest doesn't make him a superior hand, that's kind of what he says at the end, he's to be the jester not the king.
Him being honest won't help him make the correct decisions, it will just prevent him from making dishonest ones. I guess he understood that the presidency was just too much for him...
He pointed at a lot of issues, but I don't remember him actually showing the right solutions. And him making the people laugh, is obviously not one.
In all of that I am not saying Kellogg was better than what Dobbs would have been, just that Dobbs didn't see himself as a viable option.
We need both qualities for a president, honest and competent. Here Dobbs was honest enough to admit he was not competent for the job.
Amen to that!
shareLike he said in the film, its allll about distraction - will never forget Mr R Willams.
shareI suppose no one here has heard of Bernie Sanders? Dob's message of Oligarchy caused by the special interest groups(greedy corporations, billionaires ect.) that flush money into the political campaign(s)/system and needing to get rid of that is Sanders core message, plus he has no Super-Pac and you cannot donate large sums of money to him(you can not even donate if you make too much money or are part of wall street), has a 30 year track record for sticking up for the middle class and never switching his opinions to attract voters, look into him you wont regret it, if this is the honesty that you are looking for
shareBernie's always been a con-man
Met him once, when he ran for Congress and lost
Never could make a living till he got into politics, then he became a multi millionaire. like most
