This movie was an insult to human intelligence.

After viewing this ridiculouse excuse of a film, I have come to realise I have no more faith left in humanity. Seriously? Is it just me or are people really getting dumber these days, every single Hollywood cliché was used in this film, there was no imagination in the script whatsoever...it was made for stupid people, who are incapable of thinking for themselves, like mindless drones that Hollywood has produced for a quick cash crop. What happened to those movies like Resorviour Dogs and Fight Club, why are we constantly subjected to this banal tripe like Avatar, which only rely on big budget spending on advanced technological eye candy for success at the box office...where is the *beep* story, character development, they keep forgetting those two aspects because they are no longer relevant anymore, it's because the intelligence level of the human gene pool has dropped significantly in this past decade. The mainstream media has turned you all into cattle! Fewer and fewer movies that require a certain intellectual thought process are being released each year. *beep* all you people, who enjoy this sh**. I’m glad this movie failed at the box office, but it won't make a difference because Hollywood will still keep churning them out!

Thanks for reading, just needed to get that off my chest because I was forced at gunpoint to watch this film...I honestly don't like to be reminded of how dumb people are for watching movies like this, it's just depressing.

Completely agree. I was glad to see it fail, and I'm a pretty big fan of most of the cast. But this whole film was just *beep* garbage

reply

And, why would you be glad to see the film fail? Do you have some vested interest? Does other's misery give you comfort? Of course, I'm sure all of the actors feel better that you are a fan, though. And, I'm sure your vision could help guide them on their journeys to success. Quite possibly, you could take them over the top with a guide to fart and fat jokes. After all, sarcastic wit is stupid and a waste...amirite?

Oh boy. Talk about cliches. It's almost like mark_st carefully constructed this entire thing to sound like a perfect stereotype of an puberty-fueled arrogant high school student getting ready to drink their way through a fine arts major so they can have a fine career of running around the internet doing horrible blogs and telling everyone that their occupation is "screenwriter" because they took a film class once.

but hey, congratulations on the profound realization that Hollywood is a capitalist industry. Reeeeeeal insightful stuff there, kid.

If you could think for yourself, you'd probably pick movies other than Reservoir Dogs and Fight Club as your choices of movies you like that puts you above people who like this one. What blog did you crib that from? People are allowed to watch mindless *beep* sometimes and your claim that you're above it all doesn't make you sound as smart as you think it does, it just makes you sound like an *beep* Consider a movie with subtitles. Consider one that's not based on a book. Consider a film that isn't a pastiche of every 70s cop drama ever. Tarantino is a great film maker but his films are not high art and he has never pretended they are, why do you?

You were aware of the source material being a graphic novel, right? And a brilliant one at that. I see your character development point, but at any point were you confused as to who anyone was, or what they were doing, or why? Your post sir, was an insult to MY intelligence...

Just out of curiosity, how much do you enjoy the smell of your own farts?

Damn you sound like an absolute stuck up little b----. Don't be so full of yourself, get off your high horse and tone down nerdom a little.
