How stupid was that dad??

Everyone else's reactions during the movie were believable except for the dad when he forced his daughter onto the rope and got on there with her...what a complete idiot...I mean seriously. I know horror movies (though I would call this more of a thriller) usually have dumb characters but USUALLY the movie is full of idiots who do stupid stuff.

This guy, however, is the only one of the group who does something so outlandish and selfish and stupid. The only one...and I hate to say it but his death wasn't too unfortunate seeing as his actions were endangering the lives of others (and inadvertently killed Worthington's character, too).

Geez!

He was panicked like that stupid woman that had to go first then stopped in the middle. It was all her fault. She should have been the one that got eaten. He apologized for his stupidity but she did not.

The males are the reason they couldn’t be saved. One tied the rope sloppy to a half a tree. The other put his daughter at risk and weighted down the rope.

Yeah let’s just forget about the dumb bitch who ruined everything, endangered everyone and got the dad killed by freezing half way across the rope.
