I loved the film, but that thought popped into my head after it had finished.

It could be that the tablet also can make the footage seem as if nothing happened, it's just nobody mentions it.

What I noticed more than security cameras was the mess made every night that magically disappeared by dawn, but it was a fantasy movie, it would be like nitpicking about why no one notices Sebastian is missing at night in the Neverending Story but not questioning why why there is a flying dragon that looks like a giant Golden Retriever.

Opinions are just onions with pi in them.
