i saw this trailer when i went to see brigde to teriibitha. i was just wondering if they use a fake dog alot in the movie becuase it sure looked like it/

I wish my Irish Terrier would do some of those tricks like the dog in the movie! My dog looks just like it.

A digital dog is used in only two spots - you'll have to guess which two they are - the rest of the time it's all real.

its a real dog but they use a didgital dog for certain parts

I'm sure a fake dog was used for a few scenes. Also, it's not uncommon for a dog part to be played by more than one animal.

Uhm...if you check out the credits, I think you'd discover that the actor(s) who portray Rexxx/Dewey The Dog are infact (gasp!!!)...real dogs.

The fact that they are all named after Lord of the Rings characters only leads me to believe the actors at hand are all from the same litter.
