THIS MOVIE IS DUMB

I'm with you all the way, Punkypower840. I really don't understand why so many people seem to have not enjoyed this movie. Yeah, there were the silly fart jokes and the dog riding on the skateboard, but that was such a small part of the film, and there really was a great storyline to it. The connections between father and son, the community, dealing with family tragedy, and all those things were really well done, and of course, Josh Hutcherson is so talented, he added a little something extra to what many people would classify as a typical film with dogs and kids.

I think that if some people looked a little more closely, they would see that the plot is better than most kids movies, the actors are convincing, and it's just a heartwarming story that you can actually watch with kids. Think back on movies like "Beethoven," where the cold-blooded villains hardly made it kid-appropriate material. "Firehouse Dog" is clean and safe--with funny parts for the younger crowd, but a strong plot that adults can appreciate.

I loved this movie it was cute and funny :)
