Anyone who denies the liberal slant is either stupid or dishonest.

Those who say there isn't a political slant to the film are either stupid or dishonest about the film.

"It's just a movie, it's to entertain, that's it" Right. That wouldn't ring as false if there wasn't a ratio of about 60 liberal films to everyone with conservative perspective. If it's even that.

What films that have anything about the Iraq war have been ones that supported the policies or showed the bravery of the troops? A couple maybe?

No, Hollywood is littered with limo liberals, who don't mind making a flop for some reason if they can be applauded by other liberals in Hollywood or Caan.

And were I a liberal, I would want to deny the liberal bias as well, because almost always these movies suck because they are intellectually dishonest, obvious, cliche ridden, and don't do all that well.

Maybe after DVD rentals, they will show a profit, but amazingly these days, even a total of $100,000,000 doesn't mean that much if there are big time stars drawing down 20 million salaries and you invest $50 million at least into advertising.

Why do you conservatives even bother watching political movies? You guys always complain about "liberal bias" this, "liberal bias" that.

How about you just watch the movie for it's entertainment for once? Try that. This particular movie wasn't based on anything, it's complete fiction.

And even if it were liberal -- so what? How about opening your mind to the possibility that you aren't always right. You guys always want everyone to conform to your beliefs or else they're liberal hippie socialists all because they don't agree with you.

I suggest conservatives stick to cheap horror flicks and crappy comedies. You can never seem to watch real movies without whining about some hidden political agenda. Get over yourselves already.

You are correct. The movie is actually getting funnier for me as I watch it. Pointcore is Blackwater/Halliburton all the way. Ben Affleck is obviously the principled, liberal politician. There is no example of that in real life. The reporter is a hero. Most reporters in and around DC are nothing more than stenographers for the Obama administration.

The day Hollywood makes a movie about an Obama like character killing innocent people with drone attacks and spying on the American people I might reconsider my opinion. Or maybe a liberal president who perpetrates a fraud on the public causing millions of people to lose their health care plans. Maybe a movie about "Fast and Furious" or the true story of Benghazi. I won't be holding my breath. They need would rather make another dozen failed movies about the Bush years instead.

I don't have a problem with political movies per se but it would be nice to see some balance and realism. The nutcase Robert Redford actually made an excellent political film years ago called "The Candidate". It was balanced and showed the political process for what it was. This film is a joke. As far as I know Blackwater never tried to kill any reporters or government officials.

Abs right. After just 20 min I couldn't stomach it anymore. Calling ret US military "mercenaries" was despicable. And "you have a successful business, therefore you have no morals and must be held in contempt."

"You have a successful business, therefore you have no morals and must be held in contempt".

Successful business built on lives of American soldiers and Iraqi civilians? Can't say I approve of that.

I have to admit I came to the comments section on this film purely to see just how many moronic right wing real world denialist posts were here and I was quite re-assured to find I had to go to the second half of page two to find the first which was of course yours, Huckleberry.
