OOHHH MAN...all these topics of how this movie is so dramatic and emotional. You kidding me?? I fought everything I had not to turn this off in the last half of the movie. Started out alright i guess but holy S*it people, ghorrible acting, noooobody was into this movie whatsoever, Chaz is great in general but there was ZERO chemistry between anybody in the film. And to top it off, Michelle rodriguez, was that whole emotional breakdown on the roof supposed to be serious?? It was pathetic. Who directed this?? OH YEA...THE WRITER OF THE BOOK!!! I read the book and it was very good, dito should stick to writing and never direct another movie again...absolutely a huge dissapointment!!!!

I generally agree with you, this movie pretends to have depth and meaning, struggles to create value from its drama and sentimentality. Yet as I said it's all pretend a shallow gloss over a bad movie, I gave this a 5 and only because Robert Downe Jr is in it.

Oh and further I just saw Dito's third movie today, The Son of No One, man that also terrible. This guy has now made three *beep* movies and all three include the even *beep* Tatum. Someone please ban this wannabe hack from film.

First of all, how does a movie "pretend" to be anything? That sounds like a poor attempt at trying to imitate a film critic. But let's go a long with that anyway- How is it pretending, when it is based on his life, and the book he wrote about it? That doesn't make any sense. What do people not understand about that.

Ummm no this movie was amazing. Obviously you are not a fan of how independent movies are shot and done. This was done very well and the acting was great too. Go to your local thetre and buy a ticket to the new michael bay picture dont waste our time

Yeah.... Your a POS....THE BALLS YOU GOT.. Having a different opinion than most.......the nerve.....AND you got the name of the actress wrong in describing the scene you hated......you know, having the correct name would have changed your whole perspective, don't you realize that.......no go away...and don't post again till your opinion MATCHES everyone else's. k??

Agree about the lack of chemistry and that roof scene if you mean the one where she tells Dito he killed his mom and dad by leaving was pretty bad. Overall i rated it a 6/10 a decent watchable film with good storyline put poor acting in parts. feel it could of been so much better though.

I have to agree with the OP.This is a mediocre film AT BEST. Besides a couple of decent acting jobs,I found very little to draw my attention. I just saw White Irish Drinkers and It was MUCH better with MUCH less star power. I find it hard to believe This guy got 3 made! He should b**w RDJ every day for the rest of his life.
