I don't believe in "Type Casting" Jake stepped up to the plate and did a great job. Hater.

And pulling it off. Like a nerdy actor playing The Joker. Or pleasuring your wife while you’re at work.
shareI'm with you Shriek, I enjoyed him in this film
If you want to bash me CC me in a PM if you actually want me to see it :)
No, you're not the only one.
I admit I was nervous at first when I heard he was cast, but after seeing the film I think he fit the part quite well.

He didn't completely convince me in the role, though he does have a likeable, cheeky charm if some of his reactions were off.
Maybe it was sometimes obvious his hair was partly extensions ... the whole thing felt like expensive cosplay, to me. Not horrid, but not anything special either.
She was like John Rambo meets Polly Pocket.
No, you are not the only one. I actually thought he was rather good. I was skeptical when I heard about his casting but he really did quite well.

I thought he was great, he looked the part and came across well. He obviously enjoyed it, too, and the amount of fun he was having came across which massively brightened his performance.
I went in with low hopes and came out of a rather decent film.

Nope. It's just the negative posters seem to post more. There's plenty of people who thought he was great in the role (including critics)
I was shocked at the choice of him, but he really pulled it off! I'm a new fan.

Apart from having low hopes as I wasn't familiar with the game, I wholeheartedly agree! I only saw it last night but I'm surprised they haven't made a sequel.
shareI liked Jake as well because he reminds me of the videogame character.
