Why can blacks make fun of whites but not opposite

Alot of black movies make fun of white people and you dont say its racist. But,when a white person makes fun of a black person it is racist. Alot of black comedies like Wanda Sykes makes fun of white people. It sounds like its a double standard. The same thing about saying the N word. Why can blacks say it but not whites. If the N word is ignorant and stupid why do YOU PEOPLE say it all the time. Your just insulting your own stupidity and race.

Frankly, i like a good joke. Even if it is aimed right at me. I'm your run of the mill white guy, i've never lamented my "inability" to make bun of black folks Inability that doesn't even exist 'cause i joke around with my friends all the time. I neither use, nor desire to use, the word *beep* because it is too close in my mind to another word that i just plain don't like.

Another thing, i think people really should study up on history on all sides (in this thread it appears to be mostly white people, though there is no way to be sure), luckily there were a few people around to correct them.

As for President Obama. I like him a lot. I voted for him, and feel that that vote was not wasted. I think he's doing an admirable job, considering the dog's dinner the previous *ahem* "President" handed him. I've long felt that the future of both political parties lies in looking beyond the men's club of old white males and to the rest of the possibilities. It's the individual candidate that counts, and just because the candidate is Black, or Latino, or Asian, or female (or a combination between that last one and the previous three). Of course White people should still be in the mix, but until 2008 it's been exclusive and that is silly.

That should not even count. I mean that is like baby stuff. The OP is a moron. I mean if its an all black movie, then people will say oh this movie is racist because there are no white people, but if its the opposite noone really says anything. Its like these individuals are living in the 1800s-1960s. Its 2010 and people still are on this race *beep* No wonder many people dont like Americans because we are one of the most racist countries in the world.

Because white people have a 500 year head start on making fun of people. Now it's white peoples turn. It's called 360, what goes around comes back around. Which is a simple universal equation. Update yourself and stop whining. You don't seem to have a problem with the pain white people have administered over the past 10 centuries.

Op obviously doesn't watch good comedians. There's a way of saying things and stereotypes that are harmless and funny and there's also ways to make them racist, it all depends. There's also a lot of black comedians who make fun of themselves and their race, same goes for whites and hispanics.
