Too Scary For Kids, Too Stupid For Grown-Ups.

Who was supposed to enjoy this movie? (Apart from the smelly nerds who hang around comic book stores, I mean.)

Seriously, is telling a story a lost art nowadays? Just because a movie looks really cool doesn't mean it can dispense with a plot and interesting characters.

Well, now I'm confused. You're an adult who finds the movie stupid yet makes lame generalisations about all nerds? Or are you a child who finds the movie scary and is advanced in English?

So disregarding your immaturity and rudeness, I shall now answer your question. People who may enjoy this movie are... teenagers. Wow, what a surprise. There is actually a target market between children and adults! What a shocker. And then there's that enormous group of people known as 'Tim Burton fans'.

My 6 and 7 year old were not afraid of this movie. We coddle kids way too much as it is these days, they need a good thrill now and then. My kids also liked Coraline and love Corpse Bridge and Nightmare Before Christmas so 9 was nothing.
