7.1 rating !!!!???

Seriously. That's way too much. This movie had no story, no point, no personality or soul, horrible script and horribly underdeveloped characters.

I mean really! 7.1 rating !? I know only people of mostly younger age, will be fooled into thinking that this movie was anything more, than it really was.
...Or Girls..

I thought it was going to be an artistic and unique experience, but I quickly realised that this was only a wannabe artistic movie, nowhere near the realness and quality of Wall-E.
I truly suffered in my seat. I cringed and felt like vommiting. I wanted to get the hell out of there, but there were too many people at all sides and I thought maybe it would be rude. This movie is an insult toward art, it tries to be art, but it's fakeness and pretentiousness becomes totally transparent. And becomes a torturous experience. And it's even worse that so many people dont feel this way, but on the contrary, loves it! Seriously, for all insightfull and mature people out there: Get that 7.1 rating Down!!

PS: It's okay for people to like this movie, but I find it very odd that so many people do. Maybe it's only teenagers, ... Or Girls, that's the only way it can be more understandable.

I'll admit the CGI was well made, but as a narrative, this movie utterly fails.

it was boring. and i gave it a 4.
Nice looking CGI... but... that was it... nothing more.

Where was that "Tim Burton" thing????

the whole plot was cat and mouse, between the machine and those dolls. i didn't like it; found it rather boring and with the overplayed intense string orchestral music, I got the feeling that those involved in the movie thought so too.

I was hoping that once the dolls were playing the Judy Garland song the movie would be over.

Treat each day as if it were the last. Please be a child sponsor for World Vision.

7.1 is way too high.

Take away the action scenes and the sloppy characters (yes, the were terrible), and you're left with a short, lackluster story and a terrible ending.

And seriously...enough with the anti-science BS.

the story is terrible and nonsensical, well this is why most people don't trust IMDB too much anymore 7.0 for a movie filled with style over substance and fanboys who actually say the story was well written and makes sense in it's own universe.

The movie is terrible, I can't beleive people are saying the movie is filled with metaphores, just goes to show you the intelligence of people, if you want metaphores go watch a art house flick this isn't anything like those.

This movie is just all around terrible in story areas, the story makes no sense, why didn't the scientist tell any of the stitch punks what was going on with the medallion.

That's a simpleminded way of thinking.

Take away the acting in the Dark Knight and you're left with nothing!
Take out the comedy in Hoodwinked and you're left with nothing.
Take out the storytelling of Inception and you're left with nothing.

The action was an integral part of this movie. You should consider the action a GOOD thing, because it WAS good; not a bad thing, because it was good.

It really needed better dialogue, in my opinion. And more emotion.

I watched this movie because I was afraid I would miss out on a great experience. Truthfully this movie was just average. I have similar complaints as many, but most of all the main characters didn't "grab my heart". And I think the "machines are evil" premis is played out. At this point, I need a very detailed explanation on why machines want to destroy everything, otherwise the movie doesn't engage me. Almost like... been there done that.

My rating 6-6.5, Sorry.
