This Movie Have Not Aged One Bit

Watched it at the 10th Anniversary IMAX Re-Release last year, and the visual look of the film feels just as cinematic and timeless as it did when it first came out. The brilliant use of camera work and practical effects and minimal use of CGI clearly have done their job.

NolanTARDS are SNOBS

They love proclaiming that The Dark Knight, in being so “realistic,” is somehow the most true to the dark, psychologically intense world of Batman. They say this because:

(a) They want to convince themselves that Batman comics really are intended to be this realistic and intense and

(b) They want to convince others that what they read is so realistic and intense so that they can feel less embarrassment at still reading them in their 20s and 30s. The reason they overrate that movie so much is because so much personal validation is tied into that movie for them. So the more realistic the movies are, the more comic fans will claim to anyone who will listen that they just witness a movie that is exactly like the books they’ve been mocked for reading for decades."

Well, at least we're smart enough to not use dumb derogatory names against other fans by putting "tard" at the end.

"They love proclaiming that The Dark Knight, in being so “realistic,” is somehow the most true to the dark, psychologically intense world of Batman."

Isn't that the case? It perfectly exemplifies the best internal ideas of the iconic Batman runs and miniseries - from Denny O'Neil's take on Batman to Frank Miller's.

Dude, you've already sent this same reply to a bunch of other people. Get a life. This movie rocks.

Fantastic film and best superhero film to date. With a seminal performance from the late Heath Ledger as the Joker. Directed by a director at the top of his game. Nolan's Trilogy still holds up, Rises has it's flaws but it's still a great watch and Hardy's Bane has aged a lot better. Love to see The Dark Knight in IMAX.

Watched it for the first time last night and I agree it does not look dated at all. Unfortunately I didn't particularly enjoy it. The film seems overlong, self-indulgent and the growly voice seemed silly. But I'm obviously in the minority because a score of 9 on IMDB is not something that can be rigged - well I don't think so anyway with a poll size of 2 million+.
