Sure the daughter was annoying (mainly towards the stepmom) but I could NOT stand the little boy. Who would you rather throw to the lions?
I watched "Pulse" (worst movie I've seen in some time) the night before which was the only reason this movie was actually watchable for me (besides Bridget)
The daughter was the worst. The boy was stupid but young enough for it to be tolerated. The mother was careless and reckless.
Those three sweltering in that enclosed car would have wilted and come to provide plenty of scent to keep the lions interested, and the addition of that sweaty, dirty poacher would've added measurably to the scent level.
I would much rather throw the OP to the lions for calling the son and daughter annoying. And the stepmom deserved to be lion food too.

The daughter- the dumbarse know-it-all daughter. "Let me go find some water" she says. Yeah, out in the jungle where she has no clue where she's going and no weapon.
Actually I was hoping she would go so she could be eaten. I know writers deliberately do this to add tension but stuff like this isn't even realistic it's so dumb. The ignorant girl runs and yells at a helicopter like they can hear her a mile away with their blade swirling loudly above them.
First, you carry no flare gun , satellite radio, water, etc. WTH are you doing out there w/o any back-up anyway? Stupid plot and movie...
And just as the lion was about to eat the daughter and woman it just happens to get shot. WOW! That was sheer luck huh?

the daughter should of at least gotten smacked a long time before this vaca. not even half way into it and all three of them are annoying and aggravating. first the guide was a dumbass for stopping to let the kid take a dump near tall grass where lions usually hunt, so he got what he deserved. as soon as everyone was in the car they also should of closed the windows so their scent wouldnt be so easily smelt and so the lion would have nothing to grab onto and maybe break the window to get at them. i also would be trying to hotwire the damn car. plus the ranger should of giving the kid the keys before they started running away and making the lions chase them since he would of got to the car first.
they all deserve to be eaten. dumbasses.
