I want to finally blow the lid on this.
Is it just me or is Julia Stiles a really bad actor? I've seen her in the Bourne movies, teenage flicks. She's horrible! Shes awkward and unnatural. This movie was the worst. She makes a horrid love interest. Leiv Shrieber is a quality actor and she is in no way fit to play his wife. She totally unconvincing.
What do you guys think?
She was excellent in Dexter and OK in the Bourne franchise. She was cast wrong in this movie. Not every actor/actress can play a wide variety of roles. Like Meryl Streep, there should be 'The Meryl Streep Award'. Even Liev Schreiber, who is an excellent actor, has been miscast, or have been in poor movies, (The Sum of All Fears, The Manchurian Candidate).
And what is the huge attraction of anorexic women that have bodies like little boys with massive mammaries and peasant hands?

I think she was very good in the Bourne Trilogy. This movie though was a disappointment. She was unable to portray the fragile character.
shareCall me crazy but I actually enjoyed her in here. She displayed fear very well especially in the scenes where she has those scary dreams of Damien. I thought this movie was good and that Liev, Julia, Mia Farrow & Pete Postlethwaite were THE BEST things about it, that being said the original is FAR superior movie. Gregory Peck was simply AMAZING in it.

This was a case of blatant miscasting. She brought nothing to the role and was very flat.
