Does anyone know how the sequel is progressing? The last mention of it I could find was almost two years ago.

If things keep going at this rate, Amy Adams will play the hag, and Rachel Covey will be Giselle.

Why the Smurfs writers? I can not see them doing a good job. If this does happen I wish that Alan Menken comes back.

Filming will start in summer of next year, and Disney is trying to have it ready for release by 2018.
