I'll wait for it all to air before watching. It does appear to have inconsistency in regards to what we were told in Supernatural.
shareDean "handwaves" some of the incongruities by saying during his opening narration that "You think you know the story already, and so did I, but we are gonna tell it in a way that may surprise you how it all unfolds". Im paraphrasing but he says something like that.
There are a few scenes I didnt like, and they have a gay character. But I like the guy, and most of the show has worked so far. I like that we are seeing new monsters (ones we havent seen before) and also the major villain is a race called the Akrida. They are monsters who live outside of our reality, and they are breaching our reality for purposes I am uncertain of so far.
