Sam's reaction to the separate rooms is adorable.
Of course Dean is excited about the "baby shampoos" lol.

That was cute. 6 1/2 hours to go for me.

Of the new writers, Meredith seems to have the best handle on Dean. His delight at simple things like a '3 star hotel' and fresh towels... adorable and heart-breaking at the same time. I hope she resisted the urge to make him a clumsy dork (a la antique shop in the Hitler ep) but otherwise, she's shown the most promise.

Yes, Meredith's "Regarding Dean" is my favorite episode so far but we have Claire Novak in this one. I have low expectations of any episode she appears in but I do hope the Winchester moments will be written well.

I have this nagging feeling that Mick/BMoL are going to end up saving the day, forcing Dean to either apologize or thank them, and I just. do. no. want. that. Being a Glynn episode gives me a little hope, but Dabb's overall treatment of Dean this season dashes it all over again. I guess we'll know soon enough.

Mick looked like a bumbling fool in the old previews so I hope not. That being said, we can't trust this show and this season especially not to force Dean to apologize to people he has no business apologizing to. Sigh. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen.

And welcome to the board, gonzosgirrl!
So happy to see you here.
We don't have emoticons...yet so I'll throw invisible confetti all over your first post ;D

Thank you for the heads up and the welcome! (I love confetti ::)

Cute enough clip, but, yeah, so not high on Claire like ever, nor the nagging feeling that one of Dabb's pet projects - aka the British Douches of Letters - will end up on the "right" side regardless of how douchey they are, because Dabb lurves them.

That being said, it is Meredith Glynn who is, apparently, the one lone Dean fan on the writing staff - thus Sam getting the "old man" treatment for a change rather than the usual go-to who is Dean. So if Dean is going to come across well or at least decently, it will be in a Meredith Glynn script. AKA "The Lone Dean Fan On Staff".

Fingers crossed.
