IMO this show has one of the highest rewatch values of the decade. Similar to Seinfeld and Friends, I can watch the entire series over and over and not get bored. Every Barney joke make me LOL like it's the first time haha. What do other people think?
shareI think the earlier seasons have a stronger re-watch value, but I do find that the show is pretty easy to watch over and over again. I took about a six month break from the show after the finale, but then one day i just got the bug again and started watching some of my favorite episodes and it just felt right.

shareBack during its run, it was on practically every other station in syndication. And then of course, they actually show wrapped up on CBS and aired that polarizing (to put things kindly) finale where they killed off the titular mother (with the the twist being that the mother was nothing more than a footnote at the end of that extremely long winded tale), broke up Robin and Barney (whether or not they should've been together in the first place and how much sense it made is up for debate within itself) after spending the whole final season on their impending wedding, and then had Ted pining for Robin again.
While the show is still in reruns somewhere, it does seem to have faded from memory quickly.
I agree. I rewatching it for just the second time but I can't imagine ever getting tired of it.

I personally don't rewatch shows but if I had to rewatch one I'd say Breaking Bad is pretty outstanding.
