The money jokes got tired REAL quick

'That's 18 cents worth of butter' 'that's 2 cents an hour' 'that's 10 cents worth of Kool-Aid', ENOUGH already, anybody agree?

It never got old, and never will, they did it in a good way through out the show. I hope he does a line like that in a movie some time as a homage to this show :P Maybe in The Expendables 3 :P Hehe.

Not at all. Those were some of the funniest lines of the show. I think Julius was my favorite character.

you are not a beautiful and unique snowflake.

Every family needs at least one tightwad so they don't go broke.

My dad was exactly like Julius about money. Growing up whenever we wanted to eat out he would say he could buy a whole weeks worth of groceries for what it costs to eat out. Finally I said..."Dad do bats fly out of your wallet when you open it?" Shortly after that I got a job. When he had to sign papers because I was only 14 he smiled the same way Julius smiled when Chris paid the light bill on Father's Day.

I am not as cheap as Julius, but am ambivalent about restaurants. It isn't just the money. I hate to wait to eat.

reply

I like Julius sense of humor about spending. I can be cheap too but I'm not like him go around saying "that's 14 cents worth of milk" or whatever.
