To all those that said this was the worst movie ever made.

Really? I mean you really can’t think of a worse movie never mind a worse superhero based movie. Off the top of my head I can think of a couple worse, electra and the third spiderman film. I understand this is the internet and we all love to voice our opinions about how we could make the movies better then the people that actually make them but come on people the movie wasn’t the worst one ever made in history that’s just an ignorant comment.

I agree it's not the worst. I disagree with CSyn about Ghost Rider, Punisher, and The incredible Hulk returns though.

I agree. Anyone who says this was the worst film ever made is clearly just angry or prejudiced. Plan 9, the Room, hell, even Fantastic Four is worse than this. This is, as they go, a competently made run of the mill summer film backed with the star power of the excellent Hugh Jackman. It's actually quite good compared to Transformers. Perspective.

"Comptetently made"?!?

Wrong. There is nothing competent about this movie. On the contrary, it is decidedly incompetent in everything from story structure, characterization and character development to consistency, continuity and visual effects. All the other movies you mention, including Bayformers, were objectively better handled in all of these departments. Perspective, as you say.

Well it's certainly one of the worst comic book movies ever made. Superman 4, Batman & Robin, and Catwoman are all definitely worse. Still this is the worst X Men related film in the series. The real shame is that the character and his story are among the richest and most fascinating that comics have to offer. There was an amazing film waiting to be made about Wolverine's origins and some how they made every wrong decision that they could. It was a mess on virtually every level, except maybe the cast. Even the VFX looked rushed and cartoony, the scene where Wolverine inspects his adamantium claws for the first time was embarrassing. I just hope that the new film lives up to the characters great potential.

I enjoyed this movie a lot and I'm a big fan of X-Men. Sure there were things that didn't make sense and were very confusing, but overall, it was a decent movie. I don't know why there's so much hate going on.

It's in that conversation.

I'm not a fan of comic books, or x-men. I didn't know who any of the characters were when I went to see this movie. So I had no predisposition. But I enjoyed this film. And I'm not easy to please. I will walk out of a movie if I don't like it. Take my money but you can't have my time if you didn't earn it.

I know that OPs on imdb love hyperbole. The worst movie ever made? Really? Have you seen every movie ever made?

To make such a statement you obviously have never seen Highlander II, The Room, Police Academy 3, 4, 5, Beverly Hills Cop 3, Anything with Steven Seagal since 1995, Anything with JCVD since 1995 (not counting Expendables 2, Anything directed by Uwe Boll, Anything directed by Sofia Coppola, anything with Nicolas Cage, Will Ferrell, Seth Rogan, Miami Vice, Epic Movie, Super Babies, Battlefield Earth, Disaster Movie, Ishtar, Heaven's Gate, Gigli, Glitter, From Justin to Kelly, Care Bear Movie, An Inconvenient Truth, Leonard Part 6, Ghost Dad, Def Con 4, etc, etc, etc

The only real difference between this and all the other terrible movies people have listed is that it had a much higher effects budget. Take that away and it would be right there in the rest at the bottom of the pile. Arguably it has Hugh Jackman in it's favor too, but there's only so much he can do with a script that terrible.
