What was so terrible(excluding comic inaccuracies)

Excluding comic book inaccuracies what was so bad about this movie? I need to watch it again. If anyone has any insight I'd be interested to hear.

Hows the pie?

Sooo good.

Not that much was wrong with it. The worst was the memory bullets. But, if they made him lose his memory when he got the adamantium, then the movie would have been a lot shorter. It might have worked better if at the end they had him fall in to the nuclear reactor and have him get boiled down to almost nothing before regenerating. It wouldn't be true to his history, but would have worked better IMO. Of course, people would have complained about him looking like the 'Terminator' then.

The other bad part was leaving his gf in the forest. But, to be honest, I didn't think about it until much later.

I grew up with the X-Men / Wolverine comics in the 1970's & 1980's. I liked the movie. X2 was the best one (even my wife liked it) and I think this comes in as #2.

Part of me has always felt that there was a great movie in here somewhere, and Hood had started to make it (I still think the first 15-20 minutes are great). My opinion is that Hood started to make a proper Wolverine Origins tale, and it was moving along "too slowly" for someone above him, so they re-worked the script, threw in a bunch of action scenes, and rushed the rest of the film. That's why you end up with the ridiculous 3 Mile Island sequence, and the adamantium bullets taking away Logan's memory. It was all rushed.

The real issues were with the direction, the action sequences and the visual effects. The actors all did their best in my opinion.

wasn't a bad film. It's just every *beep* and his dog piss and moan about CGI these days. Enjoy the film for what it is. Ignore the whiny bitches (and there are a lot of them)

Again..Movies is not a masterpiece....it is really mediocre but since when is 2,5/5 bad?
It is mediocre so it isn´t bad I think....

Hugh is amazing in this movie...he stoles the show and holds the film together...

CGI though was very funny looking imo:D

It is really shot not so well , cgi was crap and here are reasons why x men orgins wolverine sucks
1. Wolverine claws look terrible like they aren't real claws hey look too long and cheesy and sure they are silver but they don't look well on him.
2. Acting is terrible the only one who tried was Hugh jackman he was the only good thing of this crap like it is not ryan Reynolds problem about this crap it is Lynn Collins acting she is just so whiny and annoying all she cares is about the money and being so famous but she was a b**** in this movie and also Liev schrebier was terrible.
3. Deadpool : this is not deadpool nude said just like they ruined doomsday and Dr doom.
That's all I know

I thought the cast was solid, and Hugh Jackman of course delivers as always. The script is easily the weakest part of the film that doesn't try to seriously connect with what we were already given with the previous Xmen films. Continuity in the series had been just fine in the first three Xmen films. This is the film that really started messing everything up.

I don't understand the mentality of recreating things when it is already a part of an established series. I mean, Weapon X is a big deal, but is relegated to a 15 minute sequence that it over just like that, and seriously, that is probably my biggest gripe with the movie. Also, there was simply no need to throw in a lot of extra mutants like Gambit, or all of the smaller roles of other familiar faces like Scott or even Xavier himself. It was alright to show us Team X in the old days, but that should have been it. They are a part of Logan's past and a part of his introductory story to Stryker, but from there, the main focus should have been on just Logan, Stryker, and Sabretooth.

Of course, for me there are also small nitpicks which I guess aren't THAT important, but they bug me anyhow. Why could they not get the Weapon X facility right? Or even the topography of Alkali Lake's region, which never looked like Jurassic Park before!  Again, all of this was established in previous films, so don't feel free to change it just because.

If you take this movie as a lone wolf entry, it isn't bad. Not great, but not bad. But when trying to fit it into the series, egregious continuity mistakes come to the forefront.

I am not a fan. I just happen to enjoy movies. Fans are embarrassing.

I don't know why this movie got so much hate.overall i thought it was decent, the 6.7 IMDB rating pretty much is accurate.

Watched this movie for first time in years..... found it so-so back then, and still find it so-so today.

It has its faults, but seems to be Ryan Reynolds and Deadpool have gave people a license to bash this movie for the sake of it, which I think is way over the top.

Think they got back on track with the follow up movie.
