Actors who were rumoured and considered to play Captain America

-Will Smith - Great actor, but just couldn't see him since he turned down Superman because he didn't want to mess white heroes.
-Sam Worthington - I like him but an Aussie as Cap, no just no.
-Kellan Lutz - No
-Joe Jonas - No
-Chris Pine - Heard his name a few times before Chris Evans was cast.
-Dane Cook - Nah
-Alexander Skarsgard - Can pull off playing a soldier as seen in Generation Kill
-Ryan Phillippe - Not a bad choice
-Channing Tatum - Could have worked
-Jensen Ackles - Actually would've liked that idea
-Chace Crawford - No, I do like him on "The Boys"
-Scott Porter - A good option
-Michael Cassidy - Don't know much about him except that he played Jimmy Olsen in BvS
-Wilson Bethal - Only known him in "Daredevil" as Bullseye
-John Krasinski - I know at the time he was known for being in comedy movies and TV shows, but in recent years in serious stuff like A Quiet Place, 13 Hours and Jack Ryan, he would have been a good option.
-Sebastian Stan - He's better off as Bucky than Cap
-Scott Eastwood - He said he auditioned for the role, interesting
-Garrett Hedlund - Wouldn't have minded him, but I don't know if could see him actually take the role.
-Chris Pratt - He he auditioned for the role, but let's be fair he would have never been Star Lord had he got the role
-Wyatt Russell - Has said that he auditioned for the role but he’s now John Walker aka US Agent

All but seven of those are unknown to me, so a lot of this is based on Googling them. Most of them don't have the look you need for Captain America. He's a chiseled, handsome, tough All-American boy next door type, and most of the guys in that list don't come close to that look. A lot of them look weaselly and/or weak. Some would especially out of place as Steve Rogers, most notably Kellen Lutz, Joe Jonas, Chris Pine, Dane Cook, John Krasinski, Sebastian Stan, Garrett Hedlund and Chris Pratt, but just about every name on that list falls well short of the mark. Only Scott Eastwood-- Clint's son?-- looks like Captain America.

Eastwood would look perfect, actually. Just add 30lbs of muscle and he's a spitting image.

Chris Pine was the best choice out of all those.

He's not good-looking enough. He's cross-eyed, and has a puffy face. Captain America should be chiseled and perfect.
