They tied the final episodes perfectly into Revenge Of The Sith except for this, cause the movie begins with Anakin and Obi Wan going to rescue Palpatine, we even get told in Clone Wars he has been kidnapped, but why was we never shown this? just seems weird its something they could've easily put in an episode to fill in the gap at the beginning of ROTS.

Those events were shown in a 2003 micro-series, which went by the name Star Wars: Clone Wars (as opposed to Star Wars: "The" Clone Wars, which came out a few years later). The 2003 version was a 2D-animated, micro-series that had short and crisp 3-5 minute episodes in the first two seasons and 10-15 minute episodes in the third. It was developed and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and contained some great action-packed episodes. Both General Grievous and Asajj Ventress were also first introduced in that series, if I remember correctly. It's definitely worth checking out if you have a couple of hours to spare.
Its a plot hole
shareYeah. Go watch Season 2 of the original (in some ways superior) Clone Wars cartoon. The final episodes literally lead DIRECTLY into Episode III's opening. And while Disney can claim whatever the hell they want, frankly that original cartoon is still perfectly canon.
