I just watched the movie and loved Jack Black in this role. He was what Iris said in the film, a really decent man and that is because she could see, and really needed, someone with fine qualities. Perhaps the OP is really young and I see over 60 replies, so I hope that wasn't wasted on a troll. They were pretty strong words used in the op.
All you ladies saying how charming and sweet you thought Jack Black was in the role, and that it doesn't matter how good-looking someone is if they were an a$s hole.
