This movie sucked big time!! And the sex scenes in it were just inappropriate and quite graphic. Although you didn't actually see much it was still just like a bit of porn thrown in! I mean what relevence did having sex with some random girl in the bathroom have to the movie?
The first butterfly effect was amazing, this was nothing like it. You can't even call it the sequel in my opinion. It was just crap.
It didnt really add anything to the story, they could have showed something but the 2 sex scenes were just prolonged. I remember watching the first film with my husband and he talked all the way through, but when we watched this one i tried to spark up a conversation during these scenes (cause they were soooooo long) and he practically ignored me! So I realise WHY they put those scenes in but I wasnt impressed!
I believe....Col Mustard did it in the study with the candlestick!
Did you see the same movie I saw? The sex scene didn't have any nudity in them...everyone pretty much had their clothes on except Julie in one scene took her bra off but you didn't see anything...the second one they had their clothes on...and the 3rd was a guy with his head under a sheet.
If anything I thought these scenes were too long, but they were shot ok. I thought they were filler for the most part. But graphic...you see more graphic stuff on basic cable!
The bathroom scene was to show Nick's nasty side because he cheated on Julie with Grace. This is why they broke up. And it is also to give Nick a cell phone photo to look back at so he can get to another time.
BE2 is an ok film. Not great, not horrible. What I thought a sequel would be and worth the $0 I paid to get it from the library.
Have to disagree. I see Nothing wrong with gratuitous sex. I see nothing wrong with Nudity in film. You think it should never be shown. I think it should, and Not because it's natural, but because it is erotic. It is exciting to watch attractive people have sex. The problem is, some people have a real hang up about it, and get upset when not everyone is equally as angry as they are about it, or Like me, actually enjoy the experience.
To those that say they do not Like Nudity in film i quote Larry Flynt "If you don't Like the naked human body, don't complain to me... take it up with the manufacturer"

That's pornography and it's certainly not normal. People who watch porn are doing so because it's something they desire to do but can't so they have to have a vicarious experience.
Ask any person you know who watches porn and every single time they would admit that they'd rather be participating directly in such an act rather than watch said act as a spectator.

Indeed. In fact it wasn't inappropriate enough. Some gratuitous nudity wouldn't have improved the movie but it might have made it a bit more fun to watch. ;)

The girl in the bathroom is his bosses daughter. So not only is he cheating on his girlfriend but its with his overprotective bosses daughter. Its one of the reasons he jumps back in time. And she shows up later at the xmas partt scene but cos he changed the sex in the bathroom she doesnt interact with him.
Most of the sex scenes were semi-pornographic and as such do not depict any form of intimacy. They were expressions of people seeking pleasures of the flesh for their own selfish needs.
I have no problem with sex scenes if they are done right and actually show intimacy and not this sleazy porn style which seems to infect nearly every major film nowadays. Take a look at films like Shame and Piranha 3DD to see my point.
Jeez. I'd rather watch a sex scene (which in no way were inappropriate) than watch a guy get his head blown off.
Too many Americans have this hang up over sex, yet have no problems with graphic violence (and again, the sex scenes were pretty tame; no real nudity).
