Does anyone else echo the same thoughts? He would've been great to tell the story of one of his idols, being from Brooklyn. I just feel his perspective might be more genuine than those of others

After seeing this I had the same thoughts. This is a train-wreck that felt like a bigot telling a totally different version of something he's ashamed of.

Horrifying.... It's a travesty and most people are buying into it. Stunning.

I DEFY anyone to see this film and view ANY scene with a child in it and then say it feels accurate in any way. The dialogue is ridiculous. The characters are all cardboard. There's zero life to this thing.

If I were Robinson's family I'd consider legal action.

Yeah but Spike Lee hasn't made a good movie in over 10 years
