Am I the only one who thinks Jack Frost is hot?

Okay, as weird as this may sound I think Martin Short's character is very cute. Not the "family movie" cute, I mean the actual "OMG, He's really hot!" I know it sounds weird and his picture on this site does not do him justice, but the movies he's in make him look very attractive. Oh the wonders of makeup. I don't care that he's old either, Johnny Depp is old but girls think he's hot to. Watch the Three Amigos and you may see what I mean when I say Martin Short is hot. And I also absolutly love this movie, it's may favorite out of the 3.

Thanks for your opinion, but I think you are very naive and biased. Who do you think here is expecting to have a real life relationship with Martin Short?? There are such things as dreams and basic general interest. If that's not your thing then you shouldn't be on this thread. Judging by how many people have replied on this thread agreeing with the topic, you probably have bad taste anyway. That's my opinion.

Anyone interested in Martin Short should seriously see the film 'Cross My Heart'... made just after Innerspace and features some very exotic scenes!!

reply

Really? Huh. I'll have to see if that's at Home video, or even a store that cells videos. How old is it?

It's about 20 years old, it's very rare but I have it at home and am willing to sell it if anyone's interested...

reply

I'm poor, so I can't buy it. Still, once I get money, I'm sure eBay has one, somewhere. You can always count on eBay!

eBay seriously has everything! (lol) There's so many Martin related things on there that I HAVE to have....but I'm not allowed to order stuff online (*growls with fury*)

Yes, I think Jack Frost is VERY hot. Oh, and I also found that funny pun and shared it with my friend: "Why is it that I think that such a cold man is so...HOT?!" That cracked her up for some random reason. lol.

I just HAD to join that fan site posted above! Thanks sooooo much for linking it! ^__^

I also find Martin strangely attractive....not sure if it's his smile, his face, his comedy, his singing voice, his eyes, etc. There's just something that I have to love about the guy.

Also, as someone mentioned waaay above....yeah, Martin was in Father of the Bride 2. Also, no there wasn't a wedding in the second movie, but this is what happened:

**SPOILER**
George (Steve Martin) and Nina (Diane Keaton) find out that their daughter, Annie (the bride..forgot the actress' name) is pregnant. Later, George and Nina find out that Nina is pregnant at the exact same time as Annie. As George and Nina are leaving the doctor's office (in quite a bit of shock) they run into Franck (Martin Short) and his assistant in the elevator. They start talking to catch up with what they've missed with each other, then a very rude nurse interrupts their conversation to give Nina some baby supplements or whatever, then Franck finds out she's pregnant, she tells Franck that Annie's pregnant too, Franck literally almost flies out of the ceiling with joy and insists that he does the baby shower (which is where I was like: "huh?" I guess he's an all-around party planner....*shrugs*) and George refuses at first...but later he lets Franck surprise the girls with the baby shower and Franck starts re-modeling their house to make an excellent baby room, then the ending is just filled with hilarious Franck/Martin moments. Better than the first movie because Marty gets WAAAY more screen time than the first.

**END SPOILER**

So yeah. MARTY RULES! ^_^

I think that person was me. I saw the movie a couple of weeks ago, and I LOVED IT! I was talking to a friend of mine who'd seen it and I was wondering how he would be in it, and she said, 'Don't worry, you won't miss him, he's in there.' Naturally, I had to rent it the next day.

I love the baby workout scene! It's so HILARIOUS! And Franck with his accent...couldn't quit laughing!

I loved the Baby Workout scene so much I actually memorized it, asked my friend to help me, then recorded it (I was Franck) ah, good times...good times. (lol)
The accent...so awesome ^_^ I'm surprised that I can actually mimick it fairly well (and I'm a girl..but Franck has a high-pitched voice, so I guess that works out) yeah.

reply

I can't imitate the accent, so I'm really jealous of you right now. He does have a high-pitched voice, doesn't he, but it's okay. He makes it look very 'chic,' to borrow a term from him.

reply

No need to be jealous, I probably stink at it and don't realize it ^_~
Yeah, he sure does make that 'chic'. I laugh every time I hear that word now. (When our English teacher asked us what it meant the other day, I started cracking up...and the whole class just stared at me while I quoted Franck's 'chic' lines...)

reply

You know, I just had the image of Jack Frost (when he was 'cold') talking in Franck's accent.

I can't picture that, although I imagine it would look painfuly funny hehe. Has anyone seen Martin in A Simple Wish? It's a film I watched on television when I was much younger, probably about 12 or something, and I loved it! My aunt was watching it with me, and for some reason I have this memory of her saying something like "aah Martin Short is so funny" but of course I didn't know who he was then. Now I look back and think how I watched it, completely oblivious to who Martin Short was and finding him absolutly hilarious then too hehe. If you havn't seen it, despite the geeky teeth and hair-do he has in it, I'd recommend you watch it caus it's a laugh and it also stars the Matilda actress (forgot her name lol).

Mara Wilson is the girl's name. I remember watching it too, although I was really little and have mostly forgotten it, and also didn't know who Martin Short was. Poor me! Still, I remember laughing!

reply

No, but I was desperately wanting to watch him in that movie! I love Mara Wilson as Matilda and I thought her + Martin would make a really great movie. Although, I've FINALLY gotten to see Innerspace, and Martin is a pure GENIOUS in that one ^_^

~..................line? - Martin Short~

reply

I LIKE him,

But he was disgusting without the blue frosty look! :)

reply

Honestly after watching the movie again, it's the flat hair that kills him... like if his hair had turned brown and still been spiked up-ish it might have saved him a bit

But really, he's nothing w/out the frozen pin stripe suit

reply

Describe Innerspace, since I will probably never see it and thus can only dream....

If you haven't seen Innerspace by now, I'd love to describe it for you...let me know ^_~

I have returned once again since the movie is FINALLY on DVD. I agree when people say that the hair killed him in the end. His hair has never looked so dorky, but the things that contributed to his random dorkiness are as follows:
1. Martin had on a prosthetic nose, therefore he looked a little more Scottish than necessary.
2. After wearing that icicle wig for who knows how long, it had flattened out his hair a great amount.
3. The blue pinstriped suit was gone...you can't live without the blue pinstriped suit.
4. The elf ears only look good with spiked hair...without the hair, it just contributes to the dorkiness.
That's all I can come up with. XD

*bang*..........MY peanut.

I'm with ya! I think he looks good in this movie too. Not when his heart is warmed though. I like him as Jack Frost. hehe. And I love The 3 amigos and Clifford the most!! AWESOME MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

reply

No, he definitely is--I also find Martin really cute..and hot..and I *love* the Jack Frost look. :3

i have still not seen Innerspace!

I rented SC3 today. Loved seeing Jack again, but I probably won't watch it again for a long time, because it's just that kind of movie. Still, I loved the special features. I am SO glad they changed Jack's look, because the outfit that was originally going to be his ensemble made him look like a pimp or some weird teenage boy with crazy hair. His hair wasn't frosted, he wore a sweater with a shiny scarf instead of the suit, and HIS COAT WAS SHINY! Very wacky, and would be a fun outfit for another character Marty could play, but so not Jack Frost!

Umbridge: You know, I really quite hate children.
Me: We never would've guessed.

I am so glad I am not the only one to think this!
I was watching the movie and went, "Jack Frost is SO hot, I absolutely love Martin Short!" and my sister got disgusted. :( But forget that, I found people who agree with me!
Yay!

~*~ His smile lights up my life ~*~

Lol, I am so glad someone made a post about this. I've had a huge crush on Martin Short ever since I saw him in Clifford! I absolutely love to watch him in all of his movies and I think he doesn't get as much attention as he should! I just love to watch him in interviews, too. He seems like such a nice guy and he's very underrated as an actor. Go Martin! :-)

-Have you found Jesus yet, Gump?
-I didn't know I was supposed to be looking for him, sir.
