Zack Snyder cast and created the movie Wonder Woman for BVS, choosing Gal Gadot, designing the costume and weapons, deciding she should have the accent, getting the basic sense of sternness combined with sensitivity of her character in place. When a creator creates a comic book character, they still get credit 75 years later. Zack deserves a lot of credit for the success of Wonder Woman. And he was a credited co-writer on this film as well.

BVS was a near-great film and combined with this one, make for much better repeat viewing than almost any two Marvel films you could name.

reply

I'll agree with your last comment. Combining this one with BvS...will make BvS more watchable. Once this is freely available...a person could watch BvS and then head straight to WW. Wonder Woman was one of the true highlights of BvS.

reply

I think it would be cool to watch BVS after WW, because then you understand where Diana is coming from and why it's more of a big deal for her to enter that battle with Doomsday. Only thing is you spoil something about Bruce and the photo by the bookends on WW.

reply

Spider-Man 2, X-Men 2, Logan, Deadpool, Days of Future Past... Hell, even X-Men 3 is better than BvS.

reply

Nope. This is the best DC movie, so far.

Still liked MoS and BvS though - both good/solid movies. ;)

EDIT: And can mention, even though I expected something else first time I watched it, I fucking love Watchmen - it's truly a cinematic piece of art. (I know he didn't direct WW though). ;)

reply

No, it wasn't.

reply

Better than what?

reply

Both were terrible but this movie was worse because of the SJW nonsense and the female perspective of war, which is just delusional, as usual. There is a very good reason women shouldn't make war movies, and this proves it. Wonder Woman comes out of isolation for millennia and just decides Ares is working for the Nazis and that she has to stop him. Unreal.

Yes, even though I know the twist, it still doesn't explain Diana's motivations.

reply

Stopp the press! Comic book movies not true to real life. Read all about it!

reply

Your arguments are lame.

reply

How appropriate. Your counting skills suck.

I mean, c'mon. It's a freaking comic book movie. The most fictional fiction there is.

reply

Um, no.

And what the frick does this have to do with counting again??????

reply

Yes. Superhero comics are one of, if not the most fictional fiction there is.

Ah, the counting? You said "Your arguments are lame." but the fact of the matter is that it wasn't an argument, let alone more than one.

reply

You can't just make a piece of crap and make excuses for it by saying, "it's a comic book movie, deal with it."

Moron.
