"People inside are already confirming it's another mess."

Take this as a grain of salt, but according to an alleged former Warner Bros. employee, Wonder Woman sucks too. That all depends on if you believe the open letter s/he wrote or not:

What are you even doing? I wish to God you were forced to live out of a car until you made a #1 movie of the year. Maybe Wonder Woman wouldnt be such a mess. Dont try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming its another mess. It is almost impressive how you keep rewarding the same producers and executives for making the same mistakes, over and over.

Is this the same supposed report that supposedly came from a fired employee?

The one that was mentioned weeks ago, debunked and then forgotten about?

Frankly I have to ask, who exactly is this employee that they can say this film is a mess? What experience do they have to draw upon to make this conclusion?

Cause movies aren't exactly made like houses. Scripts are altered on the days of shooting. Effects aren't put in till months after filming finishes. Scenes get several takes, with no guarantee's over which one will be used until much later.

To people on set virtually everything always looks out of place and unclear how its meant to fit together. Especially if your not keyed into where the scene goes, or what comes before or after it.

Few people save the director, and high ups have any idea how the movie is doing as a whole, before it finishes post production.

So bluntly, even if their an employee how would they know if its a mess or not?

reply

Yeah I thought this was done and buried. This is why I never believed the authenticity of this open letter. As stated above, how do your know it's a mess until the finished project comes out. Everything is jumbled together during shooting and sorted out later. This was nothing more than just a disgruntled ex-employee with an axe to grind.

reply

Yeah I thought this was done and buried

Likewise!

All for a box of chocolates...

reply

Did you really just dig up an article that's a month old that people have stopped talking about?

reply

That's the point I'd take it. We SHOULD NOT stop talking about it because pressure now might make the WB change things. Complaining later after the film is in the can does what exactly???

reply

They've already been changing things. That was the whole point of the studio shakeup that occurred back in May.

reply

Blame Santa or the tooth fairy why don't ya?

reply

I think it's another mess but it should not deter DC.

No reboots. Focus on adapting a specific story-line and make the right changes.

Gal will end up in four films, ask her to do a few more and cameo in the others.

reply

I remember when that article was still new.

reply

I honestly don't believe it. I'd be impressed and more inclined to believe it if they were more specific.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

reply

Honestly, if we really want to get technical here, pretty much every movie ever made is a mess while it's still in the editing room.

reply

Lol fair enough.

Mess? Failure? Mistakes? Huh? Batman vs superman is my favorite comic book movie. Plus It made warner bros a boatload of money and it is still rolling. It is weird how many people line up behind critics and what they read online these days. They can have gal gadot with a lasso and it will not suck. Impossible.

reply

Yeah I never had put too much stock on what the critics have to say. Suicide Squad and BvS got mixed to horrible reviews and I loved both movies. So my guess is if WW gets horrible reviews, I will probably like it.

reply

This is going to be the infamous word of the year for the DCEU. Even after release, the word MESS will hang around this movie forever because of that letter. It's now a "call your shot" prediction letter.

Validation comes in 2017.

reply

Don't let this slip too far out of mind. We'll all remember how certain fans denied what is clearly the truth here.
