Anyone else think this is the greatest horror film of the past 10 years?

Yesterday I posted a video blog on Youtube where I counted down the Top Ten Greatest Horror Movies of the Past Ten Years, and I had this at #1.

Does anyone else agree with me?

It's definitely up there with "28 days" and a few others. The scares are based on a pervasive sense of creepiness and wrongness, that build in a very satisfying way to real horror. I think my favorite horror film of the past 10 years is now "Cabin in the Woods", but as a deconstruction/comedy it's sort of apples and oranges.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks this film was truly excellent.

Agree 100% Rainysky!

This isn't really a horror movie. More of a psychological thriller.

I'm not sure if it's the best. But it's up there.

One of the scariest films ever, yes. But I wouldn't use the word horror. Horror usually entails monsters and gore.

Favorite suspense/horror of all time, actually. I could picture myself being Cusack's character; I'm as skeptical as they come. My favorite part of the whole movie is when the clock resets and says "we've only just begun." Just a chilling sense of hopelessness.

It's so hard to find good horror movies, but yes this and Insidious are the best I can recall seeing in the past 10 years, and they both do it without buckets of blood being shed or a group of teenagers being stalked. I haven't seen Emily Rose yet but I have the DVD, I'm hoping it's good also.
