huh? is all i could come up with after wasting 2 freaking precious hours of my life by sitting infront of the screen watching this piece of whale *beep* further more i had to pay for the dvd which i must confess was in itself the biggest sin of this year. but seriously waht the hell was this? this was even worse than exorcist 2 the heretic....... people over here compare this to "the beginning" which was a way way way better movie in my honest opinion...... i bet even the lucifer himself would be piss if he see this....

I have not seen either film (though looking at the reviews and comments on both, I believe I should watch both some time soon), and I don't think one's preferences make someone "stupid" by any stretch of the imagination.

However, the ignorance of the people who are saying that this one is a "cheap remake" of Harlin's version is just astounding. Prefer whichever you wish, but for the love of all that is good and holy, do your f-cking research first.

As Blatty himself told me, if you merged Schrader's and Harlin's film, there was one pretty decent film, albeit an unnecessary one.

Harlin's Exorcist was entertaining but not great. Shraders's Dominion was boring and lacked all entertainment values.

When I watch movies, I want to be entertained. That is my way of exiting the ordinary world to something exiting. Harlin's film entertained me, it didn't make me any wiser but that wasn't the reason I watched it. I watched it to be entertained and it did it for me. Shraders's utter peace of garbage bored the **** out of me and so for me it was total waste of my time. If I want to get bored, I can always go sit in my garden and watch how fast the grass grows. My oppinnion is, that Exorcist The Beginning was made for audience and Dominion was made for critics.

People that say Dominion is better of the two, are people that want us to see the as somewhat intellectuel. Well... I don't!!! But that is just my oppinion and oppinions are like ***holes, everyone's got their own.

Yeah I know. I have the film. Just to own all Exorcist films but I like begging better.
