Really late reply, but I don't think it will be a cult classic. Even if people now say "it is". When I think of Cult Classics I think of movies like Rockie Horror Picture Show(which I personally dislike), and Repo the Genetic Opera, etc.
This movie while I find to be a decent comedy as some of the Ex's are funny, Lucas Lee for example. It doesn't have the makings of a cult classic a lot of people like it, but not a lot of people LOVE it. This is purely my opinion though.
It is a cult classic.
