Why Hungary?
Why did the Crown Prince wanted to get the Hungarian Half? Was it because he felt sorry for the Hungarian Conspiracy or what??

shareHungarians were treated as 2th class in the empire. He could of never took Austria because his father who ruled since 1848 was too loved by the people to be overthrown. His father didnt even rule Hungry til 1867.That was after the death of his uncle who fled to Hungry during the revolution of 1848 in Vienna.

of course he ruled Hungary, as it was part of the austrian empire. In 1867 Hungary gained more autonomy.
sharepapermoonfan, please spell Hungary right. besides, Austria and Hungary were EQUAL in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, no 2nd class treatment of Hungarians here.

Well, your historical rundown is OK, I guess.
Hungary is far from useless, but I think you know that. There are so many in America (and in Hollywood) with Hungarian roots.
Whatever your personal issues are, trust me, Hungary continues to be a great place.
