does Edward Norton look a little bit like Hitler to you too?

Edward Norton looks like Hitler to me a little bit. not that it'd be something that could affect my adoration of Norton as an actor. but, Adolf Hitler he does resemble.

Resembles Hitler? No chance.

However, he does (in some scenes) strongly resemble an older Ludwig II of Bavaria, without the paunch.

Maybe Hitler was the kid that stole the pendant outa the inspectors pocket.lol

He doesn't look much like Hitler, but he does look like the young Noel Edmonds. This will likely mean very little to American readers, but to anyone British it's a resemblance that is kind of unfortunate.

reply

Uh he looks alt more like Hitler to be honest, doesn't look anything like Noel Edmonds at all to me.

hitler has dark hair, bangs, and a brush mustached

norton has blonde hair, a goate, and combe his hair back

thier faces don't resemblea t all

where are you getting this?

reply

Isn't Norton's natural hair colour brownish?

As for the OP's question - he didn't strike me as resembling Hitler (though his build was probably sort of similar to that of the dictator), but in some of the scenes (especially when his beard appeared to be of a darker shade), Norton reminded me of Sean Penn ("Dead Man Walking") - e.g. when it came to his sorrowful expression.

reply

Not really, but I find this question to be ironic considering he was in American History X.

reply

I thought I was all alone in this belief. Norton's character in this movie is hard to like. A malevolence just burns in his eye.

reply

Hell no, never occurred to me. But I did feel reminded of Hitler by the Prince's bouts of hysterical tantrum.

When I think up a decent sig...I'll let you know.

reply

I also thought so for a second. But when I started to look closer, I reckoned his facial form was very different from Hitlers. But Norton's facial expression during the close-up scene in the dark did make you think about Hitler for a second.

Not one bit

Not at all.
