Dumb characters....Someone Please Explain Why...

I'm no photography expert but....why did Tun have to take his film to get developed professionally, when he apparently developed pictures himself in the darkroom at his house/Apartment?

Also, during the rape scene, I don't get why the rapists WANTED Tun to take the pictures. Something about "So she won't rat us out". What???? How will having photos of them raping her keep her from ratting them out? Seems to me the last thing you would want if you're a rapist is someone taking photos catching you in the act.....and then, Tun KEEPS them around his apartment....in a not-so-inconspicuous place, no less?

These characters just don't seem very bright to me.

Colour prints in the lab. B&W prints at home.

agreed, the guy at the lab says "you always blame me when the prints are bad and take credit when the prints are good" - seems to me that he uses the lab frequently for prints.

Taking those raping photos was the stupidest thing I ever seen. Now the police has concrete evidence that the raping happened. Normal minded people would clear all the evidence like nothing happened.

1. Yes it was for Blackmail. No woman other than Pornstars wants their bodies to be seen by everyone who goes online. Yes it would be evidence but who's to stop anyone on uploading those pictures or maybe video of a rape?

Keep in mind that all those "Scandal" photos/videos are still up on the www even though the fact has been reported to the authorities.

2. Maybe he wants some "second" opinion. Like doctors who go to other doctors for checkups?

"Haha!" - Nelson Muntz ... pointing at you. :)

I can't believe people are arguing about whether the photos can be blackmail. Why would anyone want photos of themselves being raped distributed? Obviously the perpetrators would be incarcerated but the victim would never be able to live down the photos of her abuse being made public. So yes, it is effective blackmail, because she can report the crime, but she would have to live the rest of her life with those images being made public. Not to mention in our culture the amount of people who would imply the photos aren't of rape but of rough sex or just her being promiscuous.
