I started to think that if anybody from the Joel Schumacher movies should be brought in to represent them, it should be Chris O'Donnell. Val Kilmer wouldn't work at this point due to his health issues (Kilmer in case you're wondering, had a tracheotomy that completely altered his voice) in recent years. George Clooney understandably, treats his stint as Batman as old shame. So it wouldn't really be worth trying to ask him.

Makes sense for Affleck to come, I guess the story appealed to him to be in it, he was a good Batman, with what he was given, but he could have been better
