I’m amazed at the support for Sarah and the hatred for Juno
Let’s look at the facts here and not let “if you cheat with your friends husband then you deserve to die.” (not even just die but get immobilized by your friend and left to be eaten alive by mutants). Juno completely accidentally, and with good reason, turned around swinging after being grabbed from behind while in a life or death melee with bloodthirsty mutants, resulting in her friend being stabbed through the neck with what looked to be a quickly fatal injury. Regardless of how she reacted afterward, it was an accident that she couldn’t fix. She was totally scared and repulsed by what she did and ran away in a hysterical panic from the seemingly dying friend. Regardless of if she had a physical relationship with another characters husband (which clearly both Juno and husband were consenting to and wanted it to happen), there is no way Sarah was justified in intentionally and premeditatedly injuring Juno in a way so that she was unable to escape or properly fight the mutants, thus being left behind to be devoured as a form of revenge and to increase Sarah’s likelihood of escaping. Sarah sunk infinitely lower than Juno in her actions. Beth, I think that’s her name, the women Juno ACCIDENTALLY mortally wounded, was stupid for how she approached Juno. And if you say “well given her state of mind she shouldn’t be expected to anticipate Juno’s hostile reaction,” then by that logic Juno shouldn’t be responsible for her reaction of being startled from behind mid melee battle with mutants. Beth was questionably wrong for telling Sarah to essentially think Juno was a dangerous murderer and to try to screw her over. And Sarah was wrong to decide to mete out whatever punishment she felt fit, which conveniently gave her the best odds of survival, in a desperate situation where she didn’t know both sides of the story. Sarah basically went along with whatever narrative she wanted to imagine that would justify her sacrificing her friend in order to increase her odds of survival. Both Juno and Sarah made mistakes, but Sarah was the only one that made the concious decision to intentionally injure her friend enough to become live bait in order to selfishly help herself escape. Regardless of if two consenting adults have sex or not, no one has the right to do that to someone else. The reason why Beth said what she did to Sarah was out of being self absorbed, selfish, vengeful, and stupid, and the reason Sarah reacted to that information the way she did was also self absorbed, selfish, vengeful and stupid. Juno made mistakes, then tried to right them, even endangering herself to do so. And how was she received for doing so? Injured to be used as live bait to help another person escape with their own life. Sarah deserves to rot in hell. I’ll give Beth a pass to not burn in Hell because of how people’s minds work when they’re mortally injured. And because she never knee shorted one of her best friends to be left behind to be devoured based off one of the last sentences someone dying of blood loss managed to blurt out. Not the best source of information to use when deciding to intentionally damn someone to a horrible death. Cheating does not equal injuring someone to be devoured by human eating mutants. If you disagree with that then you should want there to be thousands of more times as many executions as there are in first world countries, which are based on hearsay and heat of the moment desires of bloodthirsty vengeance.
