Did V ever have a name.
I know in the movie they said he had forgotten who he was and that they never said his name. What II'm wondering is did they ever say his name in the comic.

shareIn the book, it goes a little more in depth into it. His name is revealed as being Edmond Dantes. Also, in the book, V was Evey's father, but this was taken out of the movie as it made the romance uncomfortable for audiences during test screenings,
Please excuse any typos, this was typed on an iPad
This is all false. Did you read the book? It is confirmed by V he is not Eveys father!
shareEdmond Dantes was the guy from his favourite movie...
shareNo, they never say his name and V is not Eveys father.

no V's identity is never revealed.
shareIt's a Matrix reference. V is played by Hugo Weaving who played Agent Smith.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
Yes, V had a name at one point but it's never revealed to us the reader/viewer. By the time we meet him he has been stripped of his identity and it doesn't really matter who he was.

shareAs others have said, his name was never revealed. By the time we met "V", he was the embodiment of his ideas rather than any one identifiable person.
