Dumb and Dumber wtf it's the most unsimilar movie I can think of.

This site gets the similar movies list from IMDB's "More Like This" section which uses a very simple, almost dumb, algorithm to decide which movies are similar.

That's amusing – they're both low scorers made around the same time as sort of a follow-up.

I think the 'similar movies' thing on imdb also includes the other films that imdb users gave equally high ratings to at the same time they rated that film.
