No, this isn't a rant about old people trying to be sexy. This is a rant about a woman who was ageing beautifully, who had a lot of "typical" plastic surgery done to stay young looking, but in turn it has made her look VERY old instead. Her face structure has changed and you can see the "typical" eye work she has had done which make her look older than she is but is trying to cover it with makeup. She was one of the few women in hollywood who was still pretty the older she got.
And I have to note her hair looked terrible the whole movie. She should have stuck with her own hair instead of those add ins.
OMG her boobs look so Horrible. What is wrong with this world!
Dude I can only HOPE my future wife looks like Sharon Stone does now when she's that age. Sharon Stone is probally one of the most sensual and atractive women alive today.
Make no mistake, Sharon Stone was NOT in this movie. The lead was actually a well known drag queen from Voldosta Florida named Serina Dubouis. I swear. It is all going to be revealed at the Razzies...
What the hack are you talking about?! this is a site about movies, and all you can talk about is how good or bad her boobs looked?! it doesn't matter if she looks good, bad, old or young. she's a brilliant actor.. she plays the role very good. and it's a good thriller in general.. so take your argument about her boobs to a celebrity porn site..
I saw the dvd yesterday and was quite thrilled by the movie, notwithstanding the cruel ending, which the goofy shrink character deserved and went for. As for Sharon, she's still gorgeous... not as fresh as in Allen's "Stardust memories" but much more aware of the effect she provokes on men.
This is the most disgusting thread I have seen on this site. For all of you "gorgeous" people who find it necessary to rip apart this woman; What do YOU look like?? For all you guys, have you ever even come close to dating a woman that looks like Stone? Judging by your embittered comments, the answer would probably be "no." In fact you all must be pretty ugly and angry to leave these sort of bitchy comments about women. Or maybe you have small penises?? As for the women who left nasty comments; Have you EVER, even on your BEST day, looked anywhere as good as Sharon Stone looks now??? Probably not, or else YOU would be famous movie stars, instead of some nobodies writing anonymous posts on the IMDb. What do your breasts look like? I bet they are ugly, as ugly as the comments you have made. If YOU were beautiful, or even decent looking, you would not feel the need to insult others looks. Jealousy is such a vile thing, it makes ugly people so much uglier. Sharon Stone's beauty is immortal, because it has been captured on film. In 100 years people will still be able to look at "Basic Instinct" and see this amazing beauty. Like all the greats, Dietrich, Greta Garbo, and the men too, like James Dean. Who will remember YOU in 100 years? Nobody. In other words, you will be dust in the ground. SO sad. Maybe if you had better tits, you would be somebody.
Anyone who has anything bad to say about Sharon Stone has a profusion of jealousy built up inside of them. There is no other explanation. She is the epitome of beauty and acting talent.
Furthermore, this movie was much like the first one. It was entertaining, therefore, it served its purpose. I do not see why some people hate it so much!
asgardsrei you made my day! I laughed so hard at your post, it's unbelievable.
So...because I love www.superficial.com where I like to hate Britney Spears and point out some stuff about her mean that I'm jealous of her? Have you seen that thing lately?
First off, celebrities bring this upon themselves. ...and that's it. In a way, I definitely more weirded out (than jealous) that the sh!t she's always been Britney Spears has more money than anyone, but judging someone's appearance does not always mean jealousy.
That said, Sharon is hot. Horrible hair though. Not her fault.
And to reply to your post, asgardsrei. Judging by your criteria, I imagine that you are the most good looking and altruistic person ever, with a huge penis and beautiful breasts.
Oh C'mon people everyone gets old!! lol...Lucky for Stone she has always been very good looking, even if she has had plastic surgery, why the hell not she can afford it!! lol.. Whats your excuse???
People seem to be attacking this movie because they think Stone looks old. I think you should concentrate on the MOVIE. You know the plot and the characters not how nice or bad Stone's body looks. BTW I think she looks great. Yeah--she looks her age but who's to say older women can't be sexy? And I think her acting in this one was just great. The movie itself is a little bit too much like the first (it's almost the same plot) but I still liked it. And how about the male nudioty? I thought Morrissey looks a LOT better in the nude than Douglas did. Douglas' nude scene in the first was NOT pretty. I saw the original three times in a theatre and each time you saw his butt the audience broke out laughing or gasping!
I´ve been reading this thread and I couldn´t believe the vicious comments about a beautiful woman who looks great at 47, even better than in the original movie. Someone mentioned liver spots and menopause in a bad way... don´t you know that menopause occurs between 48 and 52, but you can still look young and beautiful? Liver spots... hello! You don´t have to be an actress to look great. I have a cousin who is fifty and looks better than thirty. No collagen, no botox, just good work-out, vitamins and green tea, plus the radiance from within that makes people look gorgeous, no matter what age.
Looks like some of you are in for a huge crisis when they hit 45...
From some of the comments, and I guess they must be from teenagers, one would think Stone would be like 97 years old when the fact is that 47 is not old, not by today's Hollywood standards. In the 30's 40's and 50's actresses, especially those known for their beauty and sex appeal were through by the time they were in their mid 30's or early 40's. Today that thinking has turned back with a vengeance and actresses in their 40's 50's and 60's are still beautiful, glamorous and yes can still play mantraps. Remember the sensuous Mrs. Robinson?
One of the things I noticed about Stone is that when she smiles there are the natural lines, so those would hardly show if she has had as much plastic surgery as some claim here. No doubt she keeps up, like basically everyone in Hollywood, and why not? The point of this is not Sharon looking like she did 20 years ago, the point is the she looks good for her age.
As for her hair, I think it was deliberately style like that on purpose, just s to give her an off kind off look which went with the character, but no doubt she is undeniable attractive and her beauty timeless.
she's hot and beautiful. It's a pity that our society rejects a woman who is strong and doesn't see sex as a taboo. Damn Judeo-Christian stupid morals.
The main character is supposed to manipulate people, at least as much with her brains as with her body. She would not need to look like a young movie star to succeed. And she certainly uses well her lines (and I am not talking about her curves, natural or not) to that effect.
As for her looks, again, focus on the character itself. Why, with her money as a famous writer would she not indulge herself with plastic surgery? Of course if what you are looking for in a movie is a pretty young actress then they are many other movies to satisfy your appetite. I think she acted quite in character and the psychiatrist is not himself a teenager. Teenagers who expect a teenager movie should look elsewhere. I enjoyed it as an adult movie and in my view all the actors were quite good.
Too bad. She made this the year after Broken Flowers. She looked beautiful in Broken Flowers. Considerably younger than she is. Haven't seen this so I can't comment on how old she looks.
