Shaun of the Dead.. Hot Fuzz was a trifle over-long and sometimes hard to watch for all the stylized editing (I enjoyed that it was parody, but it was still hard to watch).
Both quite good, though!

Geez...getting all personal aren't we?
I'm 36, bachelor's degree, I'm in I.T., I LOVE both, but prefer Shaun of the Dead by a hair (I'm more of a horror fan anyway).

I love both, but even though I have a thing for zombie movies, Shaun of the Dead just doesn't make me laugh like Hot Fuzz does. I guess because I'm so used to all these Midsummer Murder and Inspector Frost things, Hot Fuzz is kinda like an in-joke but a really, really high profile one for all those people like myself who had to sit through these shows every day after school. It just captures and creates this atmosphere of the dreary existence of people who live in these little English (and Irish, in my case) villages, eating cornettos and doing their jobs but not really taking them seriously.
I'm 17 and still at school, but I have a part-time job at the local horse riding school, where I help to look after the horses and teach lessons.

I got a master's degree in art history and a master's degree in history, and now I'm writing my dissertation to become a Ph.D. in history.
I'm 28 and right now I do research for an Austrian movie institute that's planning on publishing a book and a DVD for a festival next year.

Very nice. What festival is it?
http://www.metacritic.com Just plain better than Rotten Tomatoes.
It's called "Internationale Wirtschaftsfilmtage" - well, by "international" they mean german-language movies, industrial movies to be more precise, which were commissioned by various factories, companies, etc.
