The best out of the trilogy?

If I had to rank the trilogy in order I would say:

1. Hot Fuzz
2. Shaun of the Dead
3. The World's End

What are your opinions?

I think Hot Fuzz is the funniest. Shaun of the Dead is funny too, but a bit slow to get going. World's rnd i'm afraid I didn't find funny at all.

Hot Fuzz is the funniest to me; I give it 9/10. I give World's End 8/10. And I give Shaun a 5/10.

I honestly can't rank them--I love each of them for different reasons, and each of them is great for a different reason. I think out of all of them I would have to mark Hot Fuzz the funniest, for sure, but after that I have no idea.

The World's End has probably resonated with me the most, mostly because I found Gary to be such a tragic character and Simon Pegg's (and Nick Frost's) acting was phenomenal. The message of the movie was a little heavier than the other two, which really puts it in another category. I think the big problem most people had with it was that they went to view a comedy, and TWE really wasn't it.

Shaun of the Dead was funnier, Hot Fuzz was more entertaining all over, The World's End was okay. I didn't really like the robot alien theme though, would actually have been better if they did the zombie theme again.

Yeah, that's how I'd rank them too.

Hitler! C'mon, I'll buy you a glass of lemonade.

Shaun of the Dead 9/10
Hot Fuzz 8,8/10
The World's End 8/10

Shaun was a perfect example of a horror comedy. Hot Fuzz was great but maybe a bit too heavy with the gore. The World's End has maybe the best characters of all three but it doesn't deliver on the parody level.

1. Hot fuzz
=Shaun of the Dead
=The World's End

I certainly found World's End to be the least funny, but I believe that's intentional, it was easily the most deep and thought provoking film of the trilogy. All terrific films.
