I love this movie. The story, the characters, the visual beauty of the settings.

Despite being very long and how some people could find that tiresome, I don't. The movie has been airing a lot on Pluto TV lately and it never gets old. I still think The Shawshank Redemption is better but Benjamin button is a very close contender. The hate for this film is so stupid and people only hate it because they don't find a man aging backwards realistic. Of course it's not. The whole point is to show what life would be like if someone was born with an age reversing disese and the impacts he has on peoples lives, going from an elderly man to an infant. I actually like it better than Forrest Gump. It's one of those rare instances where another movie being inspired by a similar movie that came out first is actually better than the other film.
Is this movie perfect? No, its not; but then again, not every movie is going to be like The Godfather.
