I liked it a lot, I was surprised to read a bunch of bad reviews on netflix.
Lois:Where do you wanna go for spring break?
Peter:We could go to purgatory like we did last year
There are a bunch of funny sequences in the film.
As always, BBT delivers.
He's often typecast, but so what? He's believable and his lines are biting and hilarious.
Nicholson played the same character for years. Give the people what they want.
It's like watching a prize fight. Does anyone want Mike Tyson to come out and box? No, we want him to bite and claw and be the animal that he has created.
I can appreciate Sling Blade and A Simple Plan. I love him in both of these roles. The Man Who Wasn't There is one of my all time favorite films.
But I would still be watching BBT even as he was making Bad Santa 9! It is hilarious!
I'm laughing my butt off right now. So dang funny!!!!!
shareI liked the film Mr Woodcock, but it wasn't the funniest film I've seen that year. I did laugh at some parts, but it was cheesy and corny humour.
It was better than The Love Guru with Mike Myers though.
I believe watching a slug sunbathe while melting in salt is more entertaining then that Mike Meyers film you're referring to... you cannot compare Mr. Woodcock to that crap mistaken for a movie. Mr. Woodcock was consistently funny -- IMDB ratings are so tainted it's not even funny...
shareIt was great.
shareI love Woodcock! Great character: he may be a total prick, but he's sincere. His worldview is just like so many jerks you know, though they're usually from an older generation. The thing about them is, they make you feel like such a wimp. They make all the right quips to cut you down to size.

I'm usually picky as hell with comedies but this movie was hilarious. Completely loved it. I don't know why it got such bad reviews? :(
shareYou and the only 2 morons in the theater that were laughing. This was the worst movie I've ever seen. It was so dumb and predictable. I didn't even see the ending my friend couldn't bare it any longer.
shareWhat nationality are these people who "enjoyed" this film? I'm curious. I lived outside America for a few years, and I was astonished to find, only America's worst films seemed to be floating around for all to see. I remember seeing Dukes of Hazard, Herbie Fully Loaded, I'm serious, f&cking Herbie fully loaded, I fell asleep thankfully both times, I think the films put me into a coma. These films shouldn't be let out.
I think we'll eventually find the only reason the world doesn't like America is because we keep sending all our sh!ttiest movies out. Maybe the bad movies are trying to make up for box office woes, I don't know. But by the syntax errors I'm seeing in all these movie fans, I'm thinking English isn't your first language, and you might have missed all the subtle ways this movie really sucked.
