It wasn't good in the first place....it still sucked, it just sucked with better actors, but it still sucked

Personally Buscuit I think the original was very entertaining, and I liked the acting in it. I didn't see the whole remake as it was really stupid and I changed the channel just after they turned over.

I watched this new movie and it was painful to get through. Halfway through, it actually became quite humorous it was so stupid. The original was much better and that was over 30 years ago. You would think that with today's technology, they could have made a better television movie than this piece of crap. It belongs in the garbage can for sure.
shareI loved the original (The first movie I ever remember seeing.) and am now getting a chance to watch the remake that just recently was on tv (I taped it.). So far I have gotten to the part where the giant Christmas tree came down and the Bishop said God has given them a way out. From what I have read in this thread, it seems that they may have combined the original movie w/ the sequel (Telly Savalas), Is this true or am I just remembering the sequel wrong?
